The Knesset’s Culture, Sport and Education Committee opened the new academic year with a tour of the College of Management Academic Studies in Rishon Lezion.
The committee, led by Shas MK Yaakov Margi, visited the college which is celebrating 40 years of operations since it’s establishment while marking an enrollment of over 8,500 students in both undergraduate and graduate tracks.
“It’s time Israel give greater support to colleges and open the closed club of universities,” Margi said.
The college’s chairman of the board Avi Balashnikov noted how the college’s graduates are filling key roles in the private and public sector.
