New director appointed to head ‘Kadima Mada’ network

‘Kadima Mada’ works to reduce socio-economic gaps and provides equal opportunities through the advancement of scientific and technological education in the periphery.

Moshe (Kinley) Tur-Paz has been appointed director of the Kadima Mada educational network, which represents the World ORT educational organization in Israel. World ORT is a global Jewish educational network specializing in science and technology.
‘Kadima Mada’ works to reduce socio-economic gaps and provides equal opportunities through the advancement of scientific and technological education in the periphery. The organization has a network of six high schools that offers suitable educational solutions for students in Israel’s geographical and social periphery. In addition, it promotes informal education programs in the periphery and works in partnership with the Ministry of Education, the Ministry for the Development of the Negev, Galilee and the Periphery, local authorities and others.
Tur-Paz, a member of Kibbutz Kfar Etzion, served as the head of the Jerusalem Education Administration for five years and founded and managed the educational network of the Religious Kibbutz Movement. He was educated at leading religious educational institutions, including Yeshivat Har Etzion, and served as an officer in the Paratroopers in both the regular army and reserves.
Upon his appointment, Tur-Paz said, “I am delighted to join the World ORT Kadima Mada family in Israel. My connection with the organization began as a school principal, where I benefitted from the organization’s activities in educational technology in the periphery. Today, I am closing that circle with my entrance to the position of head of the educational network.”
