Tel Aviv police said Saturday that around 5 p.m. Friday they received a call about teenagers seen throwing rocks into an abandoned building.

When police arrived they saw two boys flee the scene, and after a short chase, managed to catch both of them.

One of them was carrying a wallet belonging to a homeless man living in the abandoned building. When police entered the building they found him and another man living there, both of whom were seriously wounded. The two were taken in serious condition to Sourasky Medical Center in Tel Aviv and the Wolfson Medical Center in Holon.

Both youths were taken for questioning by police and police said they expect further arrests to follow.

No motive was given for the attack.
