Police continue to carry out operations in the south, after they prevented drug smuggling from the Egyptian border of over 330 kg of drugs, on Saturday, Israel's Police Spokesman reported.

Police and special patrol units entered the area of Beer Haddaj and arrested two suspects connected to the drug smuggling on the Egyptian border.

During the police operation where riots took place, 11 suspects were arrested for throwing stones and attacking officers.
