Lawmaker had the same result in last year's competition.

Zionist Union MK Omer Bar-Lev took second place at the Tel Aviv Triathlon on Saturday in the over 60-year-old category.

Bar-Lev took second place in last year's competition as well, a statement that he released on Saturday noted.

"Just like in politics, in a triathlon you need to know how to do a number of things well, to persevere and to work hard throughout the year," the lawmaker's statement read.
