The upcoming January 20 super blood moon marks the Jewish holiday of Tu B'Shevat as well as two years to the presidency of Donald Trump.
Rabbi Yejutiel Fish, author of the Hebrew Torah blog "Sod Ha'Chasmal" suggests that the moon eclipse is not a mere astronomical incident but a sign from God, at least for American Jews as the eclipse will not be visible in Israel.
"It clearly is telling the Jews that they need to come to Israel," he said to Breaking Israel News, a news site which delivers news "from a biblical perspective."
"For the Jews who are still in the exile, the only way they can avoid tragedy is by coming to Israel," he said.
On his blog, the rabbi suggests that Trump is the Messiah for the nation of Edom [Christians] whereas former president Barack Obama was a messiah to the nation of Ishmael [Muslims].
Writing that perhaps both Christian and Muslim nations "have a Messiah," the rabbi goes on to say that the actions of Obama led to a massive change in the Arab world "causing the kings of Arabia to ask for aid against the Persians [Iran] from the king of Edom [Trump] just like the
Yalkut Shimoni [a collection of Jewish legends from the 13th century] says."
