Russia is committed to the security of Israel, Russian official says

Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Sergei Ryabkov said that Moscow does not have an alliance with Iran in Syria.

Russia and Iran are not allies in Syria,Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Sergei Ryablov told CNN in an interview Friday, adding that Russia is committed to the security of Israel. 
 
"We in no way underestimate the importance of measures that would ensure very strong security of the State of Israel," Ryabkov said.  
He also said any accusations that US President Donald Trump has colluded with Russia are "out of touch with reality."
"Please do not be afraid of your own shadow, we [Russians] are not that threatening," he said.
