“We were not surprised by the decision” of Attorney-General Avichai Mandelblit to proceed with the legal investigation into the alleged corruption cases of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Sara Netanyahu told Channel 13 on Friday.

The prime minister’s wife was the first guest on Sharon and Rani INC on the first day the program aired. The show is co-hosted by public relations expert Ran Rahav and former MK Sharon Gal.

Regarding the case against her own conduct, which Mandelblit decided not to pursue, Netanyahu said, “Who will give me back the lost time?”

“I think that [the media] treats me in this manner because I am married to a right-wing prime minister,” she added. “I get the same treatment as he does [from the media].”

Netanyahu said the press presents her as “the essence of evil... nobody has ever bothered to examine the life I led before I met Benjamin Netanyahu.”
The new TV show includes sections that feature people who have no previous experience on television. On Friday’s show, Rahav worked alongside garbage collectors.
