Career highlights: Two-time medalist at World Championships and six-time medalist at European Championships

Outlook for Rio: Shatilov has recorded groundbreaking achievements for local gymnastics throughout his career and wants to add an international one to the list in Rio. He claimed his sixth career medal in the floor exercise at the European Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Bern, Switzerland in May, taking a bronze. He finished the floor final in Beijing 2008 in eighth place before coming sixth in London 2012 and is eyeing a further improvement in Rio.
