There was lots of action this week at IKEA’s kitchen store at the Tel Aviv Port as a new campaign was filmed there for the company’s newest kitchen campaign.

Emma Shapplin and Idan Raichel performed together at the Mann Auditorium in Tel Aviv in front of Mifal HaPais members. Senior Mifal HaPais executives, including Chairman Avigdor Yitzhaki, CEO Omri Lotan, VP Marketing and Sales Dafna Naim Shaul, and Head of Customer Relations Ilan Dror, went back stage after the show to personally thank Shapplin for the incredible performance.
FIDF & Yachad Lema’an Hachayal
Last Sunday, FIDF (Friends of Israel Defense Forces in the US and Panama) and Yachad Lema’an Hachayal  held a special event together to honor 150 soldiers who have completed their IDF service and have received academic scholarships from the Uniforms to Studies Program and IMPACT, courtesy of businessman Teddy Sagi. The event took place at LABS TLV in the Azrieli Sarona Tower, and was attended by Teddy Sagi and Yael Nizri; Sagi’s parents Ami and Lizika Sagi; Yachad Lema’an Hachayal Chairman Yoram Yair (Yaya); FIDF CEO Major-General Meir Klifi-Amir; chief of staff of the IDF’s Personnel Directorate Brig. Gen. Meirav Kirshner; and managers from the Teddy Sagi Group.
Or Lamishpachot
A few days before Yom Hazikaron, bereaved parents who are members of the Or Lamishpachot Association, headed by Irit Oren Gunders, gathered at the Cameri Theater in Tel Aviv to watch the musical Music Madness. Attending were Or Lamishpachot President Aaron Frenkel; Avigdor Kahalani; Dr. Richard and Henya Breslauer, directors of the Fund for the Victims of the Israeli Wars in Zurich; Amos Yaron, former Defense Ministry director-general; and Kobi Oshrat.
IKEA Israel
There was lots of action this week at IKEA’s kitchen store at the Tel Aviv Port as a new campaign was filmed there for the company’s newest kitchen campaign featuring five of Israel’s top chefs: Yonatan Roshfeld, Eyal Shani, Ruti Broudo, Yisrael Aharoni and Erez Komarovsky. Matthew Bronfman, one of the owners of IKEA Israel, surprised everyone by showing up on the set and joining IKEA Israel CEO Shuki Koblenz as they watched the filming together.
Center for the Blind
The chairman of the Center for the Blind in Israel, Nati Bialystock-Cohen, hosted guest lecturer, professor of Psychology and Behavioral Economics Dan Ariely. Ariely volunteered his time for the second time and gave a lecture about his research to blind people.
