1.Security forces thwarted two terror attacks within minutes of each other on Thursday after a period of relative quiet.

This week, the New York Times brought the fraught Obama-Netanyahu relationship back into the headlines when the paper expounded on the US president's possible future revenge against the Israeli leader that will be served up cold in the form of a UN Security Council resolution on the Israel-Palestinian conflict.

3. Bernie Sanders' recently-hired Jewish outreach coordinator condemned Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu last year in an expletive-ridden social media post accusing him of sanctioning mass murder.

4. A day after he returned from a two-month suspension from the Knesset, Israeli Arab MK Jamal Zahalka (Joint List) made a call to the Palestinians to prevent Jews from visiting the Temple Mount complex "in any way possible."

5. With the world’s eyes on the pre-indictment hearing of the Hebron shooter in Jaffa, the Ramle Magistrate's Court held its first hearing Thursday on a similar case where two IDF soldiers have already been indicted for negligent homicide for shooting and killing unarmed 16-year-old Palestinian Samir Awad near the West Bank Security barrier in January 2013.
