An IDF reserve soldier was seriously injured and three others were in lightly hurt Monday morning after their armored personnel carrier overturned during a training exercise in the Golan Heights near the Israeli-Syrian border.

The injured were treated on the scene and later evacuated to Rambam Hospital in Haifa.

An IDF spokesman commenting on the event said: "An armored personnel carrier overturned during a training exercise in the Golan Heights. A number of soldiers were injured as a result."  

This follows a similar event that occurred Sunday when another armored vehicle overturned during a training exercising lightly injuring one soldier.
