On a survey expedition conducted off the coast of central Israel on Saturday, ten dolphins were spotted some eight kilometers from Herzliya. The dolphins belonged to the common species native to the eastern Mediterranean waters.
IMMRAC (the Israel Marine Mammal Research & Assistance Center) carried out the survey with the Si-Gal Yacht Club.
MMRAC is a non-profit organization dedicated to the study and conservation of dolphin populations that inhabit the Eastern Mediterranean and the Gulf of Eilat.
Dolphins were also spotted on Saturday around five kilometers of the Ashkelon coast, IMMRAC reported.
The video was filmed from the sky by a Phantom 2 Vision glider.
