Six fire and rescue teams battled a fire that engulfed a clothes store in the central Israeli town of Petah Tikva on Saturday morning.

According to a fire department statement, firefighters concentrated on preventing the fire from spreading and locating any trapped individuals. The residents of the apartments above the store on Hovavei Zion Street fled soon after the fire broke out at 6 a.m. local time.

The store was destroyed entirely, said the fire department.
