In anticipation of stormy weather, police forces increased their presence in coastal cities to protect major roads and the safety of drivers, Police spokesperson said on Sunday.

Mount Hermon ski resort closed due to heavy snow and hail, police warned drivers to refrain from unnecessary driving or to hike in rivers that might overflow because of the storm.
