Four Palestinians were caught with knives in separate incidents Sunday morning.
Border Police detained a Palestinian woman near the Cave of the Patriarchs with a knife in her possession. She was taken for interrogation. Police assessed she was planning to carry out a stabbing attack.
Near Bethlehem, two Palestinians were caught in possession of an 18-centimeter knife. The knife was confiscated and they were taken for questioning.
Earlier Sunday, a 15-year-old Palestinian was caught in possession of a knife between the two tunnels on Tunnel Road, south of Jerusalem.
The Palestinian, a resident of Bethlehem, told security forces that he planned to stab the first Jew he saw.
