43-year-old Haifa woman stabbed to death; police investigate

A 43-year-old Haifa resident was found dead Monday morning in a public garden in the city. The body was found by a school principal who passed the garden and alerted police.
Medics were forced to pronounce the woman dead at the scene. From an initial police investigation it emerged that the woman had been stabbed in the neck.
Police were investigating the woman's identity, and looking into the possibility of a family connection to her death.
