Abbas urges Israel's incoming leaders to press ahead with peace efforts

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas on Thursday urged Israel's incoming leaders to press ahead with peace efforts. Abbas told a Christian gathering in Ramallah that Israel must stop settlement expansion and construction of the security barrier along the West Bank "and accept the two-state solution; Palestine and Israel living side by side in security and peace."
