Accidents caused by strong Negev winds, sand storms leave 11 people injured

Several accidents caused by harsh weather left 11 people injured around the country on Tuesday night. Ten people were lightly injured when a dining hall window shattered at the Meridian Hotel in Ein Bokek, by the Dead Sea. The window shattered as a result of strong winds and sand storms ravaging the Negev. Earlier, a man was lightly-to-moderately injured when he was hit by a steel object in Dimona. The man was evacuated to a nearby hospital.
