Afula resident arrested for drug possession after alerting police to home

An Afula resident was arrested Sunday morning after police discovered large amounts of narcotics of a broad variety in his home.
The 37-year-old man had alerted the police Saturday night after suspecting his apartment had been broken into, and it was during the ensuing police search of the abode that the narcotics were uncovered.
The suspect will be brought to court for extension of his remand.
