Ashkenazi: We must struggle against those who refuse to recognize Israel

Israel must continue the struggle against those who refuse to recognize its right to exist, IDF Chief of General Staff Lt.-Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi said Thursday evening.
Speaking at an army graduation ceremony, the IDF chief noted that the past year had presented "threats such as the Iranian president, who openly speaks of his intention to attack Israel," and warned of a rise in global anti-Semitism.
Ashkenazi also applauded the IDF's conduct during Operation Cast Lead in the Gaza Strip earlier this year.
