Bar Ilan University will dedicate a memorial park in memory of IDF reservist Eldad Regev who was kidnapped on July 12, 2006 by Hizbullah together with Ehud Goldwasser. Regev was a student at the university and the park will be dedicated as well in memory of another 20 students and faculty members who have fallen in military service. Regev was a student in Bar-Ilan's Pre-Academic Training Program ("Mechina") and was due to begin studying for his B.A. at the University in the fall of 2006.
