Barak orders West Bank closure due to Passover terror warnings
By JPOST.COM STAFF
Defense Minister Ehud Barak ordered Tuesday a general closure of the West Bank, scheduled to last ten days, beginning April 17.
Exit and entrance to Israel will be closed to Palestinians, other than humanitarian personnel.
The closure came due to warnings received by the security establishment of terrorist attacks and kidnappings during the Passover holiday.
The IDF advised residents to avoid day trips in the West Bank and reminded civilians that it is forbidden to enter Area A.
