Barak warns that large Gaza operation can not eradicate Hamas

Even if Israel invades Gaza, it will still have to deal with the Hamas afterward, warned Defense Minister Ehud Barak.
Barak has often said that an IDF invasion is nearing, but in an interview Sunday on Channel 10, he played down its potential for the first time.
He said even if IDF forces go into Gaza and destroy the Hamas regime "down to the last office and the last activist," he said, in the aftermath "we would have to achieve a truce, and we would have to deal with the same parties as before."
