Border policeman lightly wounded by rock thrown by Na'alin demonstrators

A border policeman was lightly wounded Thursday by a rock thrown by anti-security fence demonstrators in the West Bank town of Na'alin, north of Modi'in. Hundreds of Palestinians and Israeli protesters clashed with the policemen and several of the demonstrators were also reportedly hurt. The army said that the protesters were demonstrating in a closed military zone and that security forces were trying to disperse them using crowd control measures. The demonstrators, who claim the security fence is being built on Palestinian land, have recently been holding almost-daily protests.
