Brick-throwing Palestinian shot and wounded by troops in Ni'lin

A Palestinian was shot and wounded overnight Sunday as he was about to throw a brick at IDF soldiers during a protest against arrests in the village of Ni'lin, west of Ramallah.
The army said that the soldiers shot the Palestinian in the lower body and he was subsequently evacuated to a hospital by Red Crescent.
Ni'lin has been the site of numerous anti-security fence demonstrations in recent months.
