Channel 2: Police won't relax gag order imposed on Olmert case

Police have decided not to relax the gag order imposed on the latest investigation against Prime Minister Ehud Olmert. Channel Two reported that the National Fraud Unit is not yet planning to disclose any information on the case. Earlier Monday morning, officials in the police and the attorney general's office were quoted by Army Radio as saying the gag order would be partially lifted in "the next 24 hours, following major progress expected in the investigation." The officials reportedly said that findings that have been accumulated so far are "reliable" and "will shock the country" when they are revealed.
