A Palestinian farmer was killed in the northern Gaza Strip Saturday afternoon, Palestinian officials said. Medical officials said the man was hit by an IDF shell, but locals said it was a wayward rocket fired by gunmen. The IDF said that troops patrolling near the border fence came under anti-tank fire but did not respond.
