Fogel attacker agrees to plea bargain, avoiding violent offenses

Haifa District Court approved on Monday a plea bargain deal offered to Liron Hobert, one of the suspects involved in attacking and robbing Ita Fogel, an elderly woman from Haifa, whereby Hobert agreed to plea guilty on the charges of robbery, destruction of property, possession of drugs while avoiding all charges involving violent offenses. One of Hobert's coherts who was also charged in the affair, Arik Sheckter, was convicted and sentenced to 13 years in prison. The trial of the third attacker has yet to be concluded.
