Golani company commander dismissed for abusing soldiers

A company commander from the Golani Brigade's elite reconnaissance unit was dismissed on Thursday after an investigation confirmed reports that he had abused his soldiers.
"The actions were carried in contradiction of regulations, without the necessary approval and in a manner that is incompatible with the values of human dignity, reliability and excellence that the [Golani] Brigade is committed to," the conclusions of the IDF investigation read.
