A woman in her fifties was killed in Jerusalem Sunday when the car she was traveling in was crushed by a truck. The accident occurred when the truck driver lost control of his vehicle after the brakes malfunctioned. Her husband was seriously injured in the accident and their two grandchildren were lightly hurt. The casualties were taken to the city's Hadassa Ein Kerem Hospital. Rescue teams went to great lengths until they managed to extract the children from the car, which was totally smashed under the truck.
