Haifa: 2 people arrested for attacking police during drunk driving check

Two people were arrested in Haifa overnight Wednesday in two different incidents of assault on police officers who were conducting spot-checks for drunk drivers. In the first case, a 29-year-old man attacked officers after he was pulled over. He was arrested for drinking and driving, and for driving without a license. In the second incident, a 33-year-old man, who also assaulted police, was arrested for drunk driving.
