By JPOST.COM STAFF
Students and professors at Jerusalem's Hebrew University began a two-hour strike at midday Tuesday to protest the Treasury's proposed budget cuts and plans to raise tuition fees.
State colleges also joined the brief protest strike.
Open University staff, meanwhile, have been on strike for some three-and-a-half weeks in a protest over employment conditions.
