IAF intercepts Lufthansa plane that failed to identify itself

IAF jets were launched to intercept a Lufthansa 747 Saturday afternoon after the pilots forgot to identify themselves while entering Israeli airspace.
Upon spotting the Israeli fighter jets, the pilots radioed in and apologized for the mistake. The plane then landed safely. The pilots were later questioned by airport security.
