IDF colonel to probe deaths of Palestinian mother and children

A high-ranking IDF official will investigate the circumstances of the deaths of a Palestinian mother and her four children in Gaza on Monday, the army announced overnight.
The as-of-yet unnamed investigating officer, at the rank of Colonel, was expected to submit the results of his probe to OC Southern Command and the IAF chief within 48 hours.
