IDF kills armed Beduin infiltrator

Band of terrorists deterred, leaving behind bomb in South.

IDF troops intercepted three terrorists trying to enter Israel from the Sinai Peninsula on Wednesday, 40 kilometers north of Eilat. One of the infiltrators, an armed Beduin, was shot and killed in the incident.

The two other terrorists managed to escape, leaving behind an explosive device which was recovered by soldiers.

The IDF Spokesperson's Unit said that sappers were working to neutralize the bomb.

Last week, commandos from the Israel Navy’s Flotilla (Shayetet) 13 shot and killed at least four Palestinian frogmen who were swimming out of Gaza on their way to attack targets in Israel.
