Israel to open Gaza crossings to allow for humanitarian aid

Six weeks after closing the Kerem Shalom Crossing out of security concerns, Israel will open the border on Tuesday in an effort to ease the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip. Eighty trucks full of humanitarian aid and medical supplies are expected to cross the border by the day's end. Twenty trucks will make their way through the Kerem Shalom crossing in the southern Gaza Strip, while 80 trucks will cross at the Sufa Crossing.
