Jailed Hamas official has kidney stone removed in Israeli hospital

A lawyer for the jailed Palestinian Authority parliament speaker says he's undergone surgery in Israel to remove a kidney stone.
Abdel Aziz Duaik has been imprisoned by Israel since August 2006, along with other Hamas lawmakers.
His lawyer, Fadi Qawasmi, said on Saturday that the 60-year-old suffers from diabetes, high blood pressure and heart problems.
The surgery took place Friday in Israel's Ramle Hospital, where prisoners receive health care.
