An elite police force arrested in Jericho on Monday a Palestinian fugitive caught with an explosive device in his possession.
In his interrogation, the terror operative said he had planned to carry out a terror attack inside Israel during Remembrance Day or Independence Day.
Four additional fugitives were arrested in the Jericho operation for planning terror attacks.
They were taken by security forces for questioning and it emerged that one of the four was allegedly responsible for the murder of an Israeli at a West Bank petrol station some two months ago.
