Klagsbald sentenced to 15 months in hit-and-run

Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court sentenced prominent lawyer Avigdor Klagsbald to one year and three months in jail, as well as suspending his license for 10 years and ordering him to pay a fine of NIS 10,000. The sentence came after Klagsbald was convicted of causing death through negligence in a hit-and-run incident. Klagsbald pleaded guilty to criminal negligence charges for crashing into a car stopped at a red light and killing its two passengers, a young woman and her son.
