Labor activists call on Barak to exercise 'national morality' and quit

The Labor party should quit Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's coalition without wait, Labor activists will be telling party chair Ehud Barak Tuesday, ahead of the publication of the final Winograd Report on the Second Lebanon War Wednesday. "Governmental stability is important, but we must also address [issues of] responsibility and national morality and make courageous decisions," reads a letter authored by senior Labor activist Yuval Elbashan. According to Army Radio, additional Labor members are expected to sign the letter in the coming hours, before it is presented to Barak.
