Livni calls on gov't leaders to support Treasury economic plan

Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni called on both coalition and opposition leaders to support the economic program that the Finance Ministry is developing. "The Finance Ministry is considering an economic program, and all sides msut support it as an answer to the financial crisis. This includes investing in elements that would spur growth, [as well as] in infrastructure and in the business sector," she said during a meeting with US Treasury official Stuart Levy.
