Man caught driving 183 km/h had 70 prior offenses

A Jerusalem resident was apprehended by police on Friday night driving 183 km per hour on the Jerusalem-Tel Aviv Highway. The speed limit on the section of the road on which he was caught is 100 km per hour. Upon initial checks, police discovered that the man had 70 previous violations, of which 16 involved charges of reckless driving at high speeds. The driver's license was suspended for 30 days, and he was scheduled to be brought before a judge tomorrow for speedy processing.
