Man charged for blackmailing women with lewd photos

A 33-year-old man was arraigned on Thursday for breaking into the email accounts of at least 30 women, stealing photos of them in intimate positions, and trying to blackmail them with the material. According to the charge sheet, during the course of three months the man hacked into the accounts by gaining access through Facebook and Walla, and stole the personal photos. He then blackmailed the women by threatening to publish the images unless they sent him more photographs of them naked. The suspect was charged with blackmail, invasion of privacy, and making threats.
