Man sentenced to 18 years in jail for raping his 3 granddaughters

The Tel Aviv District Court on Thursday sentenced a man in his sixties to 18 years in prison for repeatedly raping and sexually abusing his three granddaughters who were aged three, five and eight at the time.
The man, a resident of central Israel, was convicted of using severe violence when committing the offense and using extreme force when his granddaughters refused to satisfy his demands.
As well as the 18-year jail sentence, the man was given a two-year suspended sentence and ordered to pay 50,000 shekels compensation to each of his victims.
