Mazuz won't open criminal case against Netanyahu for London spending

Attorney General Menachem Mazuz announced on Monday his decision not to open a criminal case against opposition leader Binyamin Netanyahu. Netanyahu had been under investigation for allegedly spending tens of thousands of shekels in public funds on a trip to London in 2006. According to Mazuz there was insufficient evidence to "justify opening a criminal case" against the opposition leader. However, Mazuz added that this did not mean there was no ethical breach on the part of Netanyahu.
