OC Home Front: Rocket fire from Gaza down by a third in past year

In the past year over a thousand rockets were fired at towns along the Gaza periphery, about 500 less than the preceding year, OC Home Front Command Yair Golan said Tuesday.
Golan, who was speaking to the Knesset State Control Committee, said that in recent years approximately NIS 500m were invested in fortifying Sderot, with the bulk of the funds going towards bolstering public institutions.
