Olmert, Livni and Barak to finalize Israel's truce proposal

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni and Defense Minister Ehud Barak are expected to meet in order to finalize Israel's cease-fire proposal with Hamas, Army Radio reported on Tuesday morning. According to the report, following Tuesday's meeting, the security cabinet will convene on Wednesday morning to in order determine whether to agree to a truce with Hamas before the release of captive IDF soldier Gilad Schalit or to back Olmert's announcement that a deal must include the soldier's release.
