Olmert approves resumption of building project west of Givat Ze'ev

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert on Sunday approved the resumption of a building project in the settlement of Givat Ze'ev, the Construction and Housing Ministry announced Sunday.
Olmert instructed Construction and Housing Minister Ze'ev Boim to continue to build some 750 housing units west of the settlement, which is located northwest of Jerusalem.
The renewed construction will be carried out as part of Defense Minister Ehud Barak's plan to bolster the major settlement blocs.
