A 50-year-old man was killed on the Beach Road on Tuesday after the pickup truck he was traveling in slammed into the security railing on the side of the road. The victim was seated next to the car's driver. The driver was lightly injured. When paramedics reached the scene the passenger was fully conscious. He died of his injuries almost instantly. Earlier on Tuesday a motorcyclist was injured in the entry road to Ora, near Jerusalem, after losing control of his vehicle and hitting a post. He was evacuated to Hadassa Ein Karem Hospital in Jerusalem in serious condition, unconscious and suffering head injuries. In a different collision between a truck and a car in the Beit Rimon junction two people were injured, one seriously and one lightly. Two Magen David Adom ambulances and an MDA helicopter were on the scene.
